MARY JO BESWICK

MARY JO is an award-winning author, illustrator and mixed media painter. She was a professional artist for twenty years before turning her talent for creating whimsical paintings into writing and illustrating picture books for children. Her first published book was Lonely Lola Ladybug, which won the Vinnie Ream Award from the National League of American Pen Women. Born and raised in Huntington, Long Island, she has lived in seven different states and in the south of France, where she began painting and writing. Today she lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts with her husband, Barry, and their Goldendoodle, Ozzie.
